The IQ Report (theiqreport.com) is run by Known by One, LLC, a Delaware company. This page says what we collect and why. Questions: contact@theiqreport.com.
Taking the test
You do not give us your name or email to take the test or see your score. When you finish, we store an anonymous record of the attempt: the raw score, which puzzles were right, the time spent on each puzzle, the date and the country your connection came from. We use these records to work out scores and to measure how hard each puzzle is. They cannot be linked to you.
To limit how many attempts from one connection count toward the comparison with other people, we keep a scrambled code made from your IP address and the date for two days. The code cannot be turned back into the address, and we do not store the address itself.
Your browser keeps your answers while you take the test (so a reload does not lose them) and a note that you have taken the test before. These stay on your device. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your result page link contains your answers and score in coded form. Anyone you share the link with can see your score.
Buying the full report
Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details and email address; we never see your card number. We receive your email address, name on the card and country from Stripe, and use the email address only to send your report link and to answer you if you write to us. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
The name you type for the certificate goes into the PDF and is not stored. Report emails are sent through Cloudflare's email service.
Hosting
The site runs on Vercel, whose servers keep standard request logs (including IP addresses) for a short time to run and protect the service.
Children
The test is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the test itself collects none from anyone.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, and to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@theiqreport.com. We keep payment records as long as tax law requires.
